Physical property: A yellow or brown-yellow clear liquid

Pharmacological action:
Oxytetracycline has broad anti-bacterial spectrum. It has bacteriostatic action against a large number of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, both aerobic and anaerobic, as well as Mycoplasma and Rickettsias. The broad spectrum of activity and excellent tissue diffusion allow the use of Oxytetracycline 20% as a treatment of choice in several infections encountered in veterinary medicine, particularly: Digestive, respiratory and uro-genital infections.

Therapeutic indications:
For the treatment of infections caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, Rickettsias, Mycoplasma in cattle, horse, sheep, goat and swine.

Administration and Dosage:
The general dose is 1 ml per 10-20 kg body weight for deep intramuscular injection.

Side-effects:
Hypersensitivity reactions, intestinal disturbances may occur after administration. Local tissue reactions after intramuscular injection in horses or foals and rarely, severe enteritis in horses

Precautions:
1. Use with special care in horses.
2. Do not use in animals with impaired liver and kidney functions.

Withdrawal periods:
Cattle, sheep, swine and horses: 28 days, milk: 7 days.

Standard: 100ml: 20g

Storage: Store in a cool and dark place.

Shelf-life: Two years
