The windshield wiper linkage in your vehicle connects the wiper motor to the wiper-blade assembly. When the wiper linkage doesn't work, neither will your windshield wipers. Normally, wiper linkage assemblies do not fail. But if yours gets bent or damaged in some other way, it will cause your vehicle's wipers to move unevenly or not at all. At this point, you'll need to replace the wiper-linkage assembly. Replacement linkage assemblies can be purchased from most auto parts stores.
