Features:
1) With high level of electrical and thermal conductivity, plasticity and
arc corrosion resistance, as well as a very low contact resistance
2) Easily soldered and is the ideal contactor material for continuous,
enclosed electric connectors
3) One of the materials most widely used in small capacity low voltage
electrical appliances, such as automatic control switches, thermostats,
baking machines, oven, timers, thermal relays, and computers
4) Silver - copper composite contactor:
a) Good electrical conductivity and its surface is not
liable to oxidization
b) The addition of 3 - 28% copper may remarkably improve the silver's
flame resistance. Hence, copper contact material may be used in
current strength up to 16A. The addition of copper, especially
high copper content, for example 10%, will greatly reduce
material transferring during DC working conditions
c) Widely used in AC contactors, relays, electric tool switches, buttons,
timers and other household electrical appliances
5) Fine crystal silver - copper composite contactor:
a) Contains a 0.12% nickel additive and has a low contact resistance,
which is similar to that of pure silver, without the variable
switching times
b) Fusion welding and flame resistance is slightly higher than that of
pure silver, and under almost equal contact resistance, its strength
and heat resistance are higher than that of a silver-copper composite
contactor
c) Suitable for various temperature adjustments of working current ≤10A
6) Silver - nickel - copper composite contactor:
a) In low voltage engineering, this contactor is widely used in AC
switches as an electrical contactor. Its advantages include that it
may be directly soldered to contactor bridges, without the need for
additional solderable layers, thus making manufacturing of contactor
components simple and economical
7) Silver - cadmium oxide / copper composite:
a) With one of the most important materials in a silver - metal
oxide contactor material
b) The fine CdO gives the contactor special properties
c) When the temperature is above 900oC, CdO sublimes, which
cools the contactor surface and reduces arc energy and extinguishment
d) The existence of cadmium oxide will improve the welding resistance of
the contactor
e) Typical applications include low voltage contactors, relays,
automatic switch flash relays, auxiliary switch series, timers,
starters, breakers and leakage protective switches
8) Silver zinc oxide / silver tin oxide:
a) The oxide of this contactor is more thermally stable than CdO
b) Because of the higher stability of ZnO and AgZnO, the contactor
material increases the contactor resistance, which would be
compensated through structural means, such as a higher contacting
force
