Phlogopite

Phlogopite, also known as magnesium mica, is a yellow, greenish, or reddish-brown member of the mica family. It is the magnesium endmember of the biotite solid solution series. For physical and optical identification, it shares most of the characteristic properties of biotite.
Application:
i) Used as insulation material of electric equipment and material, because of the high insulation and heat resistance, together with the acidoresistance, alkali resistance and peeling resistance;
ii) Applied in oven window of steam boiler, furnace and the Mechanical Elements;
iii) Additive to decorative coating such as feifeidengs.

Sericite
Sericite is a common alteration mineral of orthoclase or plagioclase feldspars in areas that have been subjected to hydrothermal alteration typically associated with copper, tin, or other hydrothermal ore deposits. The crystal system of Sericite is monoclinic with silky luster. It has the good property of wear-resistance, heat-resistance, insulation and stability chemical property.
Application:
i)Additive to coating to improve the weather resistance, mechanical properties and antiseptic property;
ii) Widely used in the industries of plastics, Ceramic, papermaking and metallurgy.
