Ittar or Attar or itr is a natural perfumes extracted from the juices of flowers like the jasmine, rose or sandal, herbs, spices, barks in to base oil such as Sandalwood oil. Sandalwood oil is used as base in making Attar while western perfumes, are prepared in alcohol as solvent or base. Attars are natural perfumes for daily use, but its not injurious to health as alcohol and suitable for both man and women.
Gulkand is prepared from fresh rose petals and sugar; It may also contains other rejuvenating herbs blended in just the right proportions.

Gulkand has been traditionally used as a cooling tonic to combat fatigue, lethary, mucular aches, biliousness itching, and heat-related conditions. It is good for memory, eyesight, cheerfulness and it is a good blood purifier. It is also naturally rich in calcium and has antioxidant. It can be used year-round by persons of all constitutions, especially Vata and Pitta. Ayurvedic doctors, use it combined with other specific herbs for several types of cancer patients undergoing radiation or chemotherapies.
