Soft enamel is a kind of paint applied to the recessed area of metal base. There is a wide variety of metal base suitable for soft enamel: copper, brass, iron, stainless steel, zinc alloy and pewter. Unlike hard enamel and pro-enamel, soft enamel is applied when the metal base is finished with ready plating. Besides, the surface of soft enamel is recessed with metal outline around.
