Alpha Silicon Nitride Powder (α-Si3N4)：The technologies of Silicothermal Synthesis and Combustion Synthesis are used to fabricate α-Si3N4 powder. The combustion synthesized α-Si3N4 powder has high sinteribility because of lower synthesis temperature and fast heating and cooling rate during the combustion synthesis.
β-Si3N4 powder is also fabricated by Combustion Synthesis technology, which
has the same advantage as α-Si3N4 powder.
Alpha/Beta Silicon Nitride (α/β-Si3N4) Composite Powder：α/β-Si3N4 composite powder is fabricated by Combustion Synthesis technology. That α-Si3N4 and β-Si3N4 are formed at the same time during the combustion synthesis makes the uniformity of the composite powder. The proportion of α-Si3N4 to β-Si3N4 is controlled by the compositons of raw materials before combustion synthesis process.
