The OP-151 Urine Analyzer is a semi-automated, bench top instrument designed to "read" Urine Reagent Strip for urinalysis. The instrument is initially configured to read UROPAPER 11 Para. Reagent Strips, 10 Para. Reagent Strips are also qualified for use.
Depending on the product being used, Reagent Strip contain reagent areas for testing glucose, bilirubin, ketone (acetoacetic acid ), specific gravity, occult blood, pH, protein, urobilinogen, nitrite and leukocytes. The OP-151 instrument is a reflectance photometer that analyzes area and displays the results in clinically meaningful units. No calculations are required.
