According to statistics, Internet is popular in advanced countries with good economics background. Globally, less than 20% of the world population are using the Internet. The other 80% of the population are mostly poor and uneducated people from rural areas, who cannot enjoy the benefits of the Internet. The main reason is they cannot afford a PC or PDA. Our objective is to make Internet more affordable to people worldwide. We hope that through Internet access, people can improve their living standards.
Mission: Provide a series of more affordable Internet access terminals for more people to access the world of Internet.
Skytone, a dynamic embedded system design company, is established since 2005. Specialized in Linux OS and open Source AP, we provide embedded software and hardware development for MID (mobile internet devices), Netbook, STB (Set Top Box) and other Internet related Gadgets.

Since 2008, Skytone launched the Alpha400, a low cost Linux based Netbook which has been widely accepted all over the world. Following that, we continue to develop a series of low cost Alpha series products that serves as a broadband internet access Gadget and multi-media player for today’s exciting Internet world.
