Zhuhai HIGRAND Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specialized in manufacturing the aluminum electrolytic capacitor and lithium-ion battery production equipment. Founded in 2001, Higrand is jointly funded by several shareholders, such as Tsinghua Science Park and Leaguer Stock (000532) Co., Ltd. It covering an area of 10 hectares, which is located in the beautiful Pearl River Delta.
With the technical backing of "Tsinghua University", the company carries out independent research and development partnered with many research institutions, colleges and universities. The scientific researchers account for 20% of the total employees, the engineers and technicians account for 40% of the total employees. Up to now, Higrand has already applied for more than one hundred national patents.
In 2002, Higrand developed the “V-chip Automatic Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor Production Equipments”, which is the first domestically made product in Chinese Market.
In 2005, Higrand has taken the lead in developing “Welding & Cutting Machine for Anode & Cathode of Lithium-ion Battery“. This is originated in China. Currently, Higrand has researched and produced more than 40 equipments.
The company has branch offices in Guangdong, Hunan, Jiangsu, Tianjin and other places. And it has established a long-term cooperate relationship with more than 20 famous enterprises in England, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, etc.
The company has passed ISO9001 in 2002. Higrand was firstly rated as Good Enterprise in “Grade4A Standardization” in the industry.
Higrand has become the “National Torch Plan” assume enterprise. The company also won more than 20 honors cognizance, including “National Hi-tech Enterprise”, “Guangdong Province Assembly Manufacturing Key Cultivated Enterprise”, “Guangdong Province Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise” and so on.
