Storage Tank for Sodium Hypochlorite 11 to 13%
1. Tank shell construction should be of 4.5mm thick PVC Liner with typically 8 layers of GRP of total thickness constitutes to 15.06mm
2. Tank should be provided minimum of each: Manhole (side) dia 600mm, outlet nozzle, drain, inlet nozzle, overflow, vent, level transmitter connections (DN3” flange) and return line nozzle.
3. Tank bottom base flange to have provision for anchor bolts.
4. The tank outlet nozzle should be 200mm minimum high from the bottom of the tank.
5. The tank bottom should be given slope towards drain.
6. Tanks should be warranted against workmanship or any manufacturing defects for minimum 10 years of life.
