Anhui Garments Import & Export Co., Ltd. is an integrated share-holding firm with business scopes in international trade, real estate development,labor force export, foreign economic cooperation and overseas exhibition business,etc.
Founded in 1979, with a business history of over 20 years, the Company has been growing constantly ever since. In 1998, we restructured our company into a share-holding firm with a registered capital of RMB75 million and we passed the certification of ISO9001:2000 quality system in the same year. The Company has succeeded for several consecutive years in the export/import volume of more than 100 million US dollars. In 2006 the annual export/import turnover hit a new record high level of 193 million US dollars.
The Company was honored as "Grade A Enterprise" by Hefei Customs House in 1998 and "The Provincial Key Enterprise in Anhui Province" in 2001. In 2003 the Company was honored "Grade A Enterprise on Creditable Tax Payment". Besides, the Company has been honored many glorious titles such as" National Foreign Trade Advanced Enterprise on Excellent Efficiency" etc in the past several years.
We have about 300 professional staff members and a young management team of high efficiency and responsibility. There are 17 business departments in this Company as well as well-managed production bases i.e.a wholly-owned garment-manufacturing factory and two share-holding garment factories in which the Comapny holds major stakes. The Company has maintained excellent business relationship with different suppliers throughout the country. Our products are exported to more than 100 countries and regions such as Europe, United States, Canada, Japan, Korea, Central and South America, the Middle East and Australia, etc. Some of our major customers are Wal-mart Stores, Inc., Columbia Sportswear Inc, The Gap Inc in the US; H&M, Kaukomarkkinat Oy, Carrefour, and Seppala in Europe; Marubeni, Simimoto Shoji and Teijin Shoji in Japan;Johnson's in South America and Target in Australia etc. We also have our own brand series entitled "Midnight Sun" specially supported by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, which maintains a good reputation in the international market. Except for our main traditional business of garments and textiles, we have been successfully exploring other fields such as home electrical appliances and light industrial products, which already account for more than 20% of our whole export sales.
