Desay was founded in 1983 as a big sized state-owned electronic information enterprise. DESAY Group now has more than 50 joint ventures, shareholdings, wholly-owned companies. In 2000, Desay established a state-level technical development center, and its headquarters became the first among its Chinese counterparts to be awarded ISO 9000 International Quality certificate. In 2004, its industrial turnover was $ 1.67 billion . In 2005, Desay ranked the 20th among the Top 100 Electronic Enterprises in China.
With strong support from DESAY Holdings and years of professional electronics manufacturing experience, DESAY AV is closely following the developing pace of AV technology in the world. DESAY A&V has put huge amounts of capital into establishing its latest and Digital R&D Center, the only one in Guangdong province, software parks in Guangzhou and Silicon Valley(United States), With a factory area 256,000Sq.m,and a total of more than 1500 employees, 18 production lines, 8 SMT machines and more than 400 testing and analyzing equipment, the company has an annual turnover of up to 2.4 million units AV products including DVD player, portable DVD, DVD recorder DVB SET-TOP-BOX ,PORTABLE DVB-T,ATSC RECEIVER ,MP4,PMP,MP3,MOBILE and home theatre system.
