Composite Grinding & Pelletizing m/c for sample of XRF Instrument
Dear Sir

This is to inform you that we are in need of automatic combined grinding-Pelletizing machine The main purpose of the pellet is to use as prepared sample of XRF analysis and the detail design is as follows:
We receive different blast furnace cold solid lumped slag of nearly 700-500 gram for XRF analysis .Now this slag needs to be grinded in to fine powder Then the out of total lot of slag powder 50 grams of the same sample is needed and separated for further mixing operation .The same 50 grams powder sample needs to be mixed with boric acid powder in a mixer. The mix-material needs to be made as pellet.
For pelletizng operation, one steel ring of nearly 2cm dia,1cm height and steel thickness is 3mm is to be put on top of a vertical circular slot,in the bottom there will be hydraulic ram/pistion of nearly similar diameter will be resting.Now the mixed material will be poured ot put inside the metal ring. on the top side of the ring, there will be one hinged -sliding thick cover plate will be pulled on top of the ring and the bottom side of the thick cover plate will be in a touching position of the ring top surface.After this the hydraulic ram/pistion will raise up and apply a force approximately 200 ton for 2/3 minutes and the force will be reduced gradually to zero force.Now the pellet is ready,the top cover plate need to be slided back to its original home position and pellets need to be taken out from the circular hole (where it was prepared) with out disturbing the top surface of the pellet.
After the ,out of 700-500 grams slag powder, the left out powder should be collected in a separate bag for sample preservation purpose, also the through cleaning should be done in grinding pot and pellet preparing place so that no contamination takes place between now and previous sample.

We also have existing slag grinding and pelletizing machine for grinding and pelletizing purpose, but we can not integrate these two machine because of lac of automation support.
