Maple Biotech Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in year 1982 to manufacture innovative high quality Chemicals and Pharmaceutical Excipients. Mr. Nandan M. Bhandari, who obtained his Masters Degree in Chemical Engineering from University of Saskatchewan at Saskatoon in Canada and did extensive Research at N. C. State University at Raleigh in United States of America, promoted this company. The company is committed to provide high quality products developed through own R&D and the most satisfactory services to Customers.
Operation of the company started with manufacture of Cellulose Powder for welding electrode industry. Several new products developed through own R&D were introduced later and lot more are in pipeline. R&D efforts of the company have been directed not only towards development of new innovative products but also towards making them available at economical price to Customers. Micro Crystalline cellulose produced by the company has not only been the best in quality but is also available at affordable price to Customers. Alpha Cellulose produced by the Company has gained worldwide reputation in Chlor-alkali industry.
The most modern plant with very good laboratories for quality assurance as well as microbial testing and R&D have been set up at Bhosari plant in Pune which is about 180 Km away from Mumbai.

Pharma & Food Products Division
Industrial Chemicals Division
Products manufactured by Pharma & Food Products Division are:
1. Micro Crystalline Cellulose: Very superior functional excipient for pharmaceutical tablets and low calorie food additive.
2. Sodium Starch Glycollate: Super disintegrant for pharmaceutical tablets.
3. Cross Carmellose Sodium: Novel dissolution aid for pharmaceutical tablets.
4. Powdered Cellulose: Low Calorie Food additive
5. Carmellose Calcium (Calcium CMC)
Products manufactured by Industrial Chemicals Division are:
1. Alpha Cellulose: Superior Filter-aid in various filtration systems.
2. Cellulose Powder: For flux coating in welding electrodes
3. Carboxy Methyl Starch: Alkali modified starch derivative for various applications like distemper paints, textile sizing and oil well drilling.
